"Hey Brenda, I have just returned from a walk w/ Addie in town and just wanted to say thanks for the great CGC class. We have both learned ALOT from you and the class and I have thoroughly enjoyed it. I love dogs and have enjoyed watching the other people and dogs in the class also. What a great group of dogs and owners! Thanks for your help/instruction and teaching. We have both learned some great things." - Karen F. (Lake Bluff, IL)

"Jack was afraid of going into a building and especially corners. After just less than an hour of positive feedback to assure him that it was alright, Jack would even go and put his paw on the wall, knowing that he had overcome his fears. Jack never had those fears again. I'm not sure exactly how you did it, but all I know is Jack never ever had any problems going into a building again, nor did he ever fear going to a corner of a show ring again. You made a whole new dog of him!" - Kay S. (East Troy, WI)

"Brenda was recommended by my veterinarian as a solid and caring dog trainer. When she came to the house for the first training session I didn't know what to expect. Although the sessions are one hour duration, Brenda spent the first hour listening to us and getting to know our dog, Carley. Then she explained her training philosophy and technique. Then we went outside and did actual hands on training, which Carley was immediately receptive to under Brenda's control. This training session was closer to 2 1/2 hours.

Brenda told us during our first session that she had not done a lot of training particularly with Brittany's, but by the second session, she had studied the breed and knew a great deal about Brittany's including breed standards, temperament, and field usage.

Before each training session, Brenda would make sure Carley was healthy and happy, then ask us if there were any specific problems which we would discuss. Then we would proceed to the training lesson.

Many sessions into our training ( and I use our intentionally), it dawned on me that Brenda had trained Carley as to the basics extremely well, for every time she took the leash from me, Carley did exactly what Brenda asked of her. What I found was that I was the weak link in the training and that Brenda was working on training me!

I highly recommend Brenda and think she is a dog-gone terrific trainer and a very nice lady." - Nicholas S. (Hawthorn Woods, IL)
